Fundraising
Maureen has worked hard on behalf of multiple organizations. She has served as Chair or committee member on four major fundraisers for Baltimore Washington Medical Center, each of which was a sell-out of more than 900 tickets and hundreds of thousands of dollars raised each time.  She has also been an ardent fundraiser for the high school athletic and music Boosters, for major improvements at the schools at all levels and for more than twenty local charities.

In the Trenches Service
Maureen has logged volunteer hours for a host of causes including:

• Brownie and Girl Scout Assistant Leader
• Youth Sports at every level
• Board of Directors ASPIRE
• Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce

Capital Improvements
Besides her achievements in funding improvements while on the Board of Education, Maureen has been a staunch advocate for renovations at Severna Park’s aging facilities.  She was closely involved in securing funding for the renovation of Severna Park Middle School, originally built in 1967.
